By accessing and using the Fable & Dusk website and acquiring our volumes, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any acquisition.

Acceptance of Terms

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Fable & Dusk. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services or acquire our volumes.

Volume Acquisition

All volumes are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse service, or cancel orders at our discretion. Prices are subject to change without notice. Payment must be received in full before volumes are dispatched.

The Ledger Membership

Access to The Ledger collection is granted through a seasonal draw system. Inscription requests do not guarantee membership. Ledger members receive advance access to Archive releases and exclusive volumes. Membership terms are subject to change and may be revoked for violation of these terms.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the handcrafted nature of our volumes, we do not accept returns on opened or used products. If you receive a damaged or defective volume, please contact The Archivist within 7 days of receipt. We will assess each case individually and provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Limitation of Liability

Fable & Dusk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our volumes or website. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the volume in question.

Processing Time

All volumes are hand-poured and cured in our Poundbury studio. Standard Library volumes are dispatched within 3-5 business days. Archive volumes undergo a 14-day curing process before dispatch. Ledger volumes follow their own release schedule, communicated to members directly.

Shipping Methods

We offer standard and express shipping options. Standard shipping typically takes 5-7 business days within the UK, 10-14 business days for international orders. Express shipping is available for UK orders only (1-2 business days).

International Shipping

We ship internationally to select countries. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country. Delivery times may vary based on customs processing. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs.

Tracking and Insurance

All shipments include tracking information, which will be sent to your email once your volume is dispatched. We insure all shipments against loss or damage during transit. If your volume does not arrive or arrives damaged, please contact The Archivist immediately.

Shipping Restrictions

Due to the nature of our volumes (containing wax and fragrance oils), certain shipping restrictions may apply. We cannot ship to PO boxes or military addresses. Some remote locations may incur additional shipping charges.

Fragrance Formulations

All fragrance formulations, including the specific combinations of oils, wax blends, and curing processes used in our volumes, are proprietary trade secrets of Fable & Dusk. Unauthorized reproduction, reverse engineering, or commercial use of our formulations is strictly prohibited.
